  Innovative, User-Friendly Packaging

We offer a variety of packaging options to meet your customers' needs and preferences. From small blister packs for do-it-yourself home-owners to our sturdy Contractor Buckets complete with handle and resealing lid, our packaging is designed to deliver on both convenience and value. Every package is clearly labeled with up-to-date product information and some user-friendly tips.

We introduced the “Deck Pack” and the “Contractor Bucket” concepts back in 1996 as a way to highlight the value of our top-quality stainless steel fasteners compared to job cost. Deck Packs contain 350 nails or screws, enough to fasten 100 square feet of decking based on 6” boards on 16” joist centers. Our Contractor Buckets follow the same path, with 1750 fasteners to cover 500 square feet of decking. In 1999, we took the Deck Pack one step further – by calculating the number of EB-TY’s and screws needed to fasten one square of decking.

As an alternative to our 25-pound cardboard box, try our sturdy plastic Contractor Buckets. They hold the same 25 pounds of fasteners, they’re OSHA-friendly, and made of heavy-duty plastic (bright orange – you’ll recognize them) with a sturdy handle to make ladder climbing safer and a lot less cumbersome. Chances are, you’ll find our buckets in use for hauling and storing other materials long after their original contents have gone to work fastening fine decks, siding, millwork, and trim.

One good brand deserves another
As we begin to transition Swan Secure products to the Simpson Strong-Tie brand, new boxes are going to be showing up on dealer shelves and on jobsites. Rest assured that these new boxes contain the same high-grade corrosion-resistant fasteners you’ve relied on for years. As a company that is committed to structural safety, Simpson Strong-Tie has earned a reputation for refusing to compromise when it comes to quality or performance.
